Fujiya Country Ma’am Chocolate Chip Cookies are very popular soft and chewy cookies in Japan.
Vanilla and chocolate flavor are the ever classic, but there are some limited flavors such as Matcha green tea.

So I made these cookies and subbed the matcha for equal amount of cocoa powder, and used dark chocolate instead of milk&white chocolate. The result? Heaven. They weren't sickly sweet, by had rather a soothing sweetness with a hint of bitterness lurking in the back of your tongue. 10/10 would make these again. Thank you Ochikeron-san ?✨
Country Ma'am? Japs need to stop mangling English. Makes no fucking sense.
What can we use instead of butter? Please reply asap
Thank you for ur great recipe but may i ask why my dough is very wet even i put it in the fridge for 30 mins? The dough is too wet and i cannot shape them ….
What's the brand of the matcha powder that you used? I tried making matcha cookies but it turned to a very light green color, even if it's already 3 tbsp :((
U look so pretty!
Thank you so much for the recipe Ochikeron! I just made the cookies today and they came out great! So soft, chewy, and delicious 😀

Very well presented and inspiring.
If I want to add mini marshmallows on the top for decoration, what should I do without melting the marshmallow ? ><

Did you use double acting or single acting baking powder?
is there anything else i can put in the middle instead of chocolate?
if i want to make a chocolate version, can i just replace the matcha powder with cocoa instead?
Do you have to use chocolate???
